I’m a wife and mother of 2 wonderful children. In my spare time I enjoy watching television and engaging in a game of Uno with my family. I was inspired to be apart of Pink with a Passion during an event. I have learned to appreciate life and especially time spent with my love one’s more. Cancer does not affect an individual, in fact it can affect an entire family. Volunteering for PWAP has filled me with passion and makes me happy to know that by having faith as small as a mustard seed can grow a community of strength and fighting for a great cause.

I am a Breast Cancer Survivor - diagnosed in 2011. I retired from Warren County Schools. I have been married for 24 years to a Retired SMSgt of the Air Force and have 2 sons. I am the youngest of 9 siblings and cancer runs in my family. I remind myself that “I Can Do All Things through Christ Who Strengthens Me” – Phillipians 4:13. I believe that every life has a purpose and God planned it that way. The song “All in His Plan” is a testimony that I live by. I believe I can share my battle, my story, and my testimonies to help someone. I have been blessed in so many ways and I want to be a Blessing to others.

I am a Warren County native, a retired 27 year Teacher Assistant of Warren County Schools and a lifetime member of Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church. I come from a very large family where we were taught to love one another, our fellowman and most importantly, to love God. I have lost several family members to cancer. I feel a need to help serve others in the capacity I have witnessed Pink With A Passion conducting itself with love, support and charity. I am honored to be associated with this prestigious foundation.

Mary Palmer is married and the mother of four children and has 11 grandchildren. She is a Christian and loves the Lord and is determined to follow him in every area of life. She’s employed full time at Duke Primary Care Louisburg. In her free time she enjoys going to her family church, helping others, spending time with family and friends, and exercising. Three of

her family members passed with cancer and one is in remission. She feels being a part of Pink with a Passion helps honor her family members, educate others, bring about awareness and find

resources to help people fighting cancer.
